The Crown Jewels jewelry, which is part of the Royal Collection ,is displayed to millions of visitors every year and guarded by Yeoman Warders (Beefeaters) in the Tower of London. The Jewel House at the Tower securely stores these precious ceremonial objects, commonly referred to as 'The Crown Jewels' since the early 14th century. Although, in previous centuries attempts have been made to steal the Crown Jewels... none has ever been successful. The present display of the Crown Jewels jewelry was opened by Her Majesty the Queen in 1994.
