During the 1940’s and 50’s, O’Hara was repeatedly cast as the heroine in elaborate Technicolor features.  Her strong-willed characters, which were complimented by her fiery red hair, green eyes and peaches and cream complexion, earned her the nickname “Queen of Technicolor”. The beautiful Maureen O’Hara had a natural gift for performing which was demonstrated by her winning prettyt much every Feis Award for drama and theatrical performing Ireland offered.  The icy blue topaz and diamond ring was worn by Ms. O’Hara in “Miracle on 34th Street”.
