A mature leading lady in the 1919’s, Edna Goodrich was yet another touring company diva who briefly found fame in the still-fledgling film industry.  Onscreen from 1914 to 1918 Goodrich starred in “Armstrong’s Wife” (1915), was the “American Maid” (1917), and reigned as “Queen X” (1917.  She was never much of a rival for such nobly leading ladies as Clara Kimball Young or Olga Petrova, however, and returned to the legitimate stage.
